Pago de Otazu (D.O.P. Pago de Otazu) is a red wine 57% Merlot and 43% Cabernet Sauvignon made from grapes harvested by hand in October and aged in French oak barrels. A surprising wine that faithfully reflects the characteristics of the Otazu terroir under the influence of the Atlantic climate. Blend of 61% Merlot and 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, spending 12 months in French oak barrels. Visual: Deep cherry red Nose: Complex nose with notes of red fruits, currants and wild berries, spicy Silky mouthfeel, with a fine, long and elegant finish. Pair with p ates and cheeses, small game: pheasant and partridge, barbecued meats and suckling pig. Label inspired by 'Guardian II', by Xavier Mascaró.
